Before writing
Two things that help.
What do I attach to the first email?
Nothing, on the first one. Four lines will do: car, category, what it does that it should not, and by when you need an answer.
Data comes after the NDA, and we will tell you which parts we actually need: it is almost never everything you have.
How long do you take to reply?
Normally within two working days, with a written reply from an engineer.
If the request concerns a race weekend that is imminent, put that in the subject line.
