Capability

Six disciplines. One car.

On a car there is no such thing as an isolated problem. Change a spring and the aero balance moves; change the aero and tyre temperatures move. Either you look at all of it, or you chase it.

Wireframe model of a competition chassis with suspension and wheels, suspended above a bench in a dark laboratory.

The model

Four points of view that have to agree.

The same car, read four ways. If they do not agree, one of the four is wrong.

Detail of the wireframe model: wishbones, uprights and brake discs seen through the structure.
  • Kinematics Geometry, travel, camber and toe through movement.
  • Mass and stiffness Distribution, inertias, torsional stiffness.
  • Brakes and tyre Balance, temperatures, the real working window.
  • Aerodynamics Downforce, balance, ride height sensitivity.

Disciplines

What we do, concretely.

01

Vehicle dynamics

Balance, transient, stability under braking and through the corner, steering response. This is the goal: everything else is a tool.

Goal

02

Suspension and kinematics

Design and review of geometry, springs, bars, dampers. Rig and track tuning, with repeatable procedures.

System

03

Aerodynamics and balance

Downforce, efficiency, centre of pressure, attitude sensitivity. Tunnel and CFD data read as behaviour, not as headline numbers.

System

04

Simulation and correlation

Multibody models, simulator work, test plans built to correlate. This is what makes everything else trustworthy.

Method

05

Powertrain and driveline

Delivery, mapping, differential, ratios, torque management on electric cars. Integration rather than power.

System

06

Data and race engineering

Acquisition, channel selection, session procedure, debrief. A run plan that holds, and someone holding it.

Tools

What we work with.

As a principle we use the client's tools. These are the ones we can pick up with no learning time.

Tooling areas. The specific list of software and rigs is to be confirmed with the technical director.

If it is not measured, it did not happen. That holds for one spring and for a three-year programme.

Need one of these, or all of them at once?

Usually it is the second. Write us the problem and we will tell you where it starts.
