Privacy notice

This document has the right structure and its gaps marked in plain sight. It must be validated by a legal adviser before publication: it is not a finished text.

Controller

Who processes the data

The data controller is RacingSyn S.r.l., registered at address to be confirmed, VAT to be confirmed. For anything concerning personal data, write to info@racingsyn.com (address to be confirmed).

To be defined: whether a Data Protection Officer must be appointed, and their contact details.

Data

What we collect and why

Data sent through the contact forms. Name, company or team, email, country, type of organisation, and optionally role and message. It is used to answer the enquiry and to assess a possible engagement. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject.

Marketing consent. Separate and optional. If given, the email address is used to send technical updates. It can be withdrawn at any time, with no effect on how the enquiry is handled.

Technical browsing data. To be defined once the actual tooling is decided: at present the site carries no analytics and no profiling cookies. The only technical cookie is the one that remembers the contact panel being dismissed, which lasts seven days.

Retention

For how long

To be defined with the adviser: retention period for enquiries that do not lead to an engagement, and retention period for contract documentation once an engagement closes.

Technical data supplied by clients during an engagement is not covered by this notice: it is governed by the contract and the confidentiality agreement.

Recipients

Who else sees the data

To be completed: list of external processors — hosting provider, email service, any form recipient — stating the country where data is held and the safeguards that apply to transfers outside the European Economic Area.

Data is neither sold nor passed to third parties for commercial purposes.

Rights

What you can ask for

At any time you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and object to processing, under Articles 15–22 of EU Regulation 2016/679.

Requests go to info@racingsyn.com. If you believe the processing breaches the Regulation you may lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority.
